Rhubarb Recipe Ingredients:
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. chopped rhubarb
*1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
Rhubarb Recipe Cooking:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar mixed with cinnamon (to taste). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. May be served warm with cream or ice cream. *To make sour milk, pour 1 tablespoon vinegar in cup, add milk to make 1 cup. Let stand about 5 minutes.
